    • Learn Markdown

Markdown allows users to format plain text documents making it very easy to create documents that can be displayed by any browser.  A markdown file has a .md extension.

Markdown files are used frequently in documenting or describing changes in platforms like Github that we are going to use throughout the school year.  Aside from learning HTML, CSS and JS, we will touch on this type of document as it is an important aspect of web development especially on the area of version control and documenting changes.

A link to two resources is shown below AND to encourage you to use it and for you to listen to the state of the nation's address (SONA) today an extra credit exercise will be enabled with instructions on how to submit them.  But the content of the markdown are answers to the following questions:

      1. Give 2-4 key points from the SONA 2025 that you found interesting

      2. Give 1-3 key points from SONA 2025 that you found weird for any reason (explaining is optional)

      3. Write 2 paragraphs of reflection (each paragraph is ideally around 4 sentences)

      4. What 1 word/ phrase/ or sentence do you have for the Philippines after hearing SONA 2025?

The deadline will be set for next week, since this is short notice
